She organised the first run from the hospital bed. The first marathon had 6000 runners, united in white shirts despite political and religious differences in Lebanon (where it was torn by civil war for many years).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Making peace is a marathon | May El-Khalil\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/u1K6hnm09xs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parkour: Traceur with Cerebral Palsy Beats The Odds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>James Blake was late for his first Parkour session, he was welcomed in and told to warm up like any other beginner. He was treated the same despite having cerebral palsy.
